[attr="class","chrctrapptxt"]Sydney White is well known for both her kindness and optimism, which are her greatest strengths. She is generous and charismatic, winning the trust and admiration of many, while her kindness and pleasant attitude makes her easy to love. Sydney's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With little to no negativity within her mind, she is an almost perfect example of positivity and innocence. She can also be playful at times, seeming younger than she really is. She possesses an oddly warm personality towards those who reciprocate it by wearing a soft smile or exuding a cheery glow.
Though generally childlike and gentle, Sydney can sometimes act assertive, and with authority. She is also a total clean freak and needs everything to look perfect - otherwise she fixes it herself. Similarly, she takes pride in her appearance and personal hygiene. She knows exactly what she wants, and though she may sometimes be shy about putting forward an idea, shows leadership potential. There is no doubt Sydney is hard-working and productive. She is willing to put effort in if it benefits her in the long term. However, Sydney's greatest flaw is also her greatest strength. Due to her strong sense of kindness and trust, the young woman can be manipulated or put under a false sense of security very easily. In the modern world, there are an over abundance of liars and scammers, but Sydney is unable to detect or protect herself from their persuasion. She sees life as an ideal world, which it really isn't. In the end, her naivety is what makes her both loveable and vulnerable.

[attr="class","chrctrappheaders"]history
[attr="class","chrctrapptxt"]Sydney was once a small girl with a lot of love in her heart. She had the perfect, kind family with a cozy home on the edge of a small town. She had a big backyard full of apple trees and a seemingly endless forest just outside her perfect picket fence. That was, until she was just four years old. Then her mother died of cancer. She was left with her grieving father for a few years, taking care of him as much as he was her. But time passes and people move on, her father finding love once again with a woman who Sydney hated. This was the first time in her life she had really felt this emotion, at just seven years old. At least, her childish senses thought she had. They married a year later, and rebellious Sydney refused to be a bridesmaid at their wedding, or the flower girl, for that matter. It was true that this woman's vanity had taken over her life, and she didn't particularly like children, but she loved Sydney's father and so tolerated her misbehavior, understanding her sorrow. Despite this, the girl continued to live her life, maybe with slightly less love in her heart. Until four or five years later, when Sydney was thirteen and her father kicked the bucket. This time, the only one to support her was her nemesis, her stepmother. Despite the lady's efforts to calm her down, Sydney isolated herself and became somewhat depressed. Soon after, her stepmother followed suit and started talking to herself in the mirror. Sydney didn't like this, either. Eventually, she went off the rails entirely, permanently dyeing her blonde hair black to seem more "goth" and spending more and more time alone in the forest. She even got a boyfriend. Her stepmother, excited to meet this boy, asked the fourteen-year-old to bring him to their house one day.
Before doing so, Sydney warned him of how evil her stepmother was, but he assured her that he could handle it. He could. She couldn't. Long story short, the stepmother was telling him embarrassing stories of her singing in the shower, so she ran away. Into the forest. Not too worried, the stepmother told the boyfriend to go find her and bring her back for dinner. So he did. He found her, and she begged him to let her go. Being a terrible boyfriend, he did, and not wanting to face the wrath of the 'evil' stepmother, he went home. Later that night when nobody had returned and it was time for dinner, the stepmother put a coat on and went to find Sydney. Quickly picking an apple as a peace offering, she ventured into the dark to find her stepdaughter. Sure enough, she was there, shivering and curled in a ball behind a tree, a whole two hundred yards from the house. The stepmother held out the apple for her, and the hungry Sydney took a bite. It was rotten. Neither had noticed this as it was too dark to see anything. The stepmother tried to apologize, but it was too late. Sydney got food poisoning and was sick for weeks. Then, when she woke up one day, she was in a hospital with a very short doctor checking her heartbeat and her sleazy boyfriend watching over her. It must've been true love!
It was not true love, Sydney's boyfriend breaking up with her soon after. It was then that her stepmother enrolled her in boarding school in Waltsville - she didn't like kids very much anyway - and Sydney loved it there. Now, she is a college student, majoring in psychology. She aspires to become a social worker, having pulled her life together and eager to help others do the same. She has lost contact with everyone from home, despite having a working mobile phone. Her hair is still black, a memory of her worst phase, her skin still pale but her lips now get smothered in red lipstick. Now that her goth trend is over, she prefers to wear bright hipster clothing in the colors red, blue and yellow. She is now more emotionally stable and trusting than she was back then, and is finally ready to move on from her evil stepmother, dead parents and sleazy boyfriend.
